Joe Biden spoke to reporters and the American people today. This comes after reports that the Biden/Harris administration would try for a “reset” of their tenure amid multiple issues going on in the United States currently.
Many Americans are concerned about inflation, gas prices, Covid-19, lockdowns, mandates, interest rates, housing prices, healthcare, immigration, and much much more. In one key clip, a reporter who appears to be Kristen Welker asked about the “800-pound gorilla in the room”.
The reporter asked Joe Biden if, amid “voting rights” failure being imminent, and if Biden runs for president again in 2024, he plans to keep Kamala Harris. Joe Biden has probably been prepared for this question and did not beat around the bush to answer yes.
Yes, to he is keeping Kamala, and yes to “he thinks she’s doing a good job”. It’s unclear, however, if yes is the answer to if he plans to run in 2024.
“You put Vice President Kamala Harris in charge of voting right. Are you satisfied with her work on this issue and can you guarantee, do you commit that she will be your running mate in 2024 provided that you run again?”
Biden answers, “Yes and yes”, before he is asked to expand and gives a huge “Cheshire cat” grin. Watch:
