Former 2020 democratic presidential nominee Tulsi Gabbard has seen herself alienated from the democrat party since last year.

Her comments following the Kyle Rittenhouse aren’t going to mend that fence anytime soon.

Gabbard said that the jury got it right by finding Rittenhouse innocent.

She also called out the government’s political motivations in the case, which she says are “criminal.”

“The jury got it right—finding Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges. The fact that charges were brought before any serious investigation is evidence that the government was motivated by politics, which itself should be considered criminal,” tweeted Gabbard.

Tulsi Gabbard, former Hawaii congresswoman, hailed the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse in a tweet Friday.

“The jury got it right — finding Rittenhouse not guilty on all charges. The fact that charges were brought before any serious investigation is evidence that the government was motivated by politics, which itself should be considered criminal,” she tweeted

Gabbard had previously called out the prosecution in the case for not doing their homework.

She also stated that had the government done its job, the violent riots that led to the incident never would have occurred.

The Post Millennial has more:

“The prosecutor in this Rittenhouse trial obviously did not do his due diligence before making the decision to prosecute. This tragedy never would have happened if the government had simply carried out its responsibilities to protect the safety, lives and properties of innocent people.”

Gabbard elaborated more on the media and the government’s roles in the trial while on Fox News:
